Immerse yourself in the day-to-day life of a Pantanal farm on this farm tour at Pantanal Experiência. As well as that, we'll go to the Agachi Museum to learn about the region's history. Don't miss it!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Pantanal Experiência, an authentic Pantanal farm, to learn more about daily life in this Brazilian region and farm activities.
We'll explore the site, previously a ceramics factory, and see the kilns and structures of the old Santa Cecília factory, an important point of the ceramics industry in Mato Grosso do Sul. This restored location features gastronomic and leisure spaces and the Agachi Museum, which we'll visit during the tour.
During the museum visit, we'll learn about the region's history through various utensils, images, souvenirs, and objects. The name originates from the Agachi stream, where pottery was worked using clay minerals, turning into high-quality tiles and bricks.
Following the museum, we'll ride in a tractor-drawn trailer around the estate to see the organic vegetable garden and animals like horses and sheep, and observe how workers care for livestock.
The final stop will be the fish farm, which supplies many local restaurants. Participants can opt to join in a fishing activity for an hour.
After 4 hours, we'll conclude the tour back at the entrance to Pantanal Experiência.
