If you're in Miranda, don't miss this Pantanal Safari. This is the best way to explore the fauna and flora of Mato Grosso do Sul by land and water. What are you waiting for? Let's book it!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Fazenda San Francisco to begin this safari around Pantanal. Once there, we'll hop into our open-top 4x4 and tour the trails filled with biodiversity, including native forests and rice fields, as well as the cattle area.

During the safari, you'll learn about the native flora and fauna. We'll see plants such as the Tuscan fig tree, white fig tree, acuri palm tree, pink ipê tree, and angico tree. Wildlife includes deer, capybaras, caimans, and various birds. With luck, we may see anteaters, tapirs, and the majestic Brazilian jaguar.

After 2 to 2.5 hours, we'll return to the farm for lunch, which includes rice, beans, salad, fish, and meat.

After lunch, we'll take a boat ride along the Corixo São Domingos, part of the Miranda River, to observe birds like kingfishers, cormorants, herons, and hawks.

This region may also host other wildlife, and we might see caimans and otters. Before concluding, we'll participate in a traditional fishing activity on the Corixo São Domingos.

Finally, we'll say our goodbyes back on the farm, marking the end of our 8-hour tour.
