Whale Watching in Mirissa

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Mirissa at 6 am, and head to the coast, where we'll board a boat to begin the adventure searching for our finned friends!

First, we'll have breakfast on board while we sail towards one of the best dolphin spotting areas in Mirissa. This is where you can see these mammals jump and play. Cameras at the ready!

Then we'll move to another area, where whales usually go to feed. Throughout the experience, we'll see how these mammals emerge from the sea and shoot their characteristic jet of water.

After four to six hours, depending on the sightings, we'll return to the mainland and take you back to your hotel.

Pick Up

This activity includes pick up from hotels within 2 to 3 kilometers of Mirissa. If you're staying elsewhere or prefer to make your own way, we meet at 6:45 am at Mihiriwella Road, Mirissa 81740. The boat will depart at 7 am.
