Yala National Park Safari
At the appointed hour, we will meet you at your accommodation in Mirissa and proceed via bus to Yala National Park.
Upon our arrival at this preserved natural area located in the southern region of Sri Lanka, we will transition to a 4x4 vehicle for an unforgettable safari experience in Yala National Park. As we traverse this expansive landscape, covering over 97,000 hectares (239,692 acres), we will have the opportunity to see one of the largest leopard populations globally.
After an intimate glimpse at these majestic creatures, we will stop at a picnic area within the park for a delightful breakfast. Following our meal, we will resume the safari, heading towards the thriving Asian elephant population, where large herds of elephants can be witnessed!
Throughout our journey, we will also encounter over 100 different bird species. Moreover, we may spot crocodiles, bears, wild boars, and various other wildlife inhabiting this ecologically rich environment. Prepare for an exciting day filled with wildlife encounters! Another break will be made for lunch, so don't forget to pack your picnic!
As our 4x4 safari concludes, we will head back to the park's entrance before returning to Mirissa by bus. After an exhilarating 11 to 13 hours of exploration, we will drop you off at your hotel.
