Yala National Park Safari
At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Mirissa and travel by bus to Yala National Park.
Upon arrival, we will switch vehicles to begin a safari in 4x4 through Yala National Park. This protected natural area covers over 97,000 hectares (239,692 acres) and is home to one of the world’s largest leopard populations.
After observing the leopards, we will stop at a picnic area for breakfast. We will then continue our safari to the Yala Asian elephant colony, where we will see herds of elephants.
During the tour, we will also spot more than 100 species of birds, as well as crocodiles, bears, wild boars, and other wildlife in this biodiverse ecosystem. A lunch break will be included, so please bring your picnic basket.
At the end of the 4x4 safari, we will return to the park entrance, board the bus, and head back to Mirissa. After approximately 11 to 13 hours of safari, we will drop you off at your hotel.
