Yala National Park Safari

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Mirissa and travel by bus to Yala National Park.

Upon arrival at this protected area in the south of Sri Lanka, we will switch to 4x4 vehicles for an impressive safari in Yala National Park. This region covers over 97,000 hectares (239,692 acres) and is home to one of the largest leopard populations worldwide.

After observing the leopards, we will stop at a picnic area for breakfast. We will then proceed to the Yala Asian elephant colony to see herds of elephants.

Throughout the tour, we will also spot more than 100 bird species, as well as crocodiles, bears, wild boars, and other wildlife from this diverse ecosystem. A pause for lunch will be included; please bring a picnic basket.

At the end of the 4x4 safari, we will return to the park entrance, re-board the bus, and head back to Mirissa. After an exciting 11 to 13 hours of safari, we will drop you off at your hotel.
