Antigua Guatemala Day Trip

After hotel pickup, we will depart southbound to Antigua Guatemala. During the trip, you will explore the city and learn about its significant role in Central American history. You will view the Spanish Baroque architecture and vibrant façades of churches and palaces.

A walking tour will cover main landmarks, including the Plaza Central, Cathedral, Town Hall, and Captain General Palace. Our guide will share historical stories related to each site. We will also visit a jade factory to observe the making of jewelry from this precious stone.

This half-day trip lasts 5 hours, concluding with a return to Guatemala City and drop-off at the original pickup point.

Full-Day Trip

For a more extensive experience, you can opt for the full-day trip lasting 8 hours. Upon arrival in Antigua Guatemala, we will visit Ciudad Vieja, the site of Guatemala's first capital. Here, you will learn about the region's colonial culture and its destruction by earthquakes and floods in the 16th century. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant before a walking tour of Antigua’s main monuments.
