Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and kick off this alternative tour of Guatemala City. We'll hop on a bus to check out the most interesting spots in the capital and surrounding areas.

Our first stop will be the Miraflores Museum, which houses a collection of archaeological pieces from the Kaminal Juyú site, an ancient Mayan city from 1200 BC.

Next, we'll visit Cerrito del Carmen, home to a Catholic church that has been rebuilt three times, before heading to the historic center of Guatemala City to see the exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral and revisit the Miraflores Museum for its Mayan exhibit.

A break at a local restaurant will allow you to enjoy the local cuisine. Afterward, we'll stroll down 6th Avenue to Plaza Berlín, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes.

We will conclude the tour between seven and eight hours after starting, returning to the original pickup point.
