When making your booking, you can choose from the following private day trips from Guatemala City. They all include hotel pickup, transportation, and an English-speaking guide:

Antigua Guatemala Day Trip (8 hours)

From your hotel in Guatemala City, we'll head to the Indigenous community of San Antonio Aguas Calientes, known for its textiles. Then we'll drive to the historic centre of Antigua Guatemala, the country's first capital, where you will have an hour of free time for lunch at the Porta Hotel Antigua.

After lunch, we will have a guided tour of Antigua Guatemala, visiting iconic places such as the Cathedral of San José, the Town Hall, and the Palace of the Captains General, as well as a jade factory to see jewelry-making.

After exploring Antigua Guatemala, we'll take you back to your hotel in Guatemala City.

Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlán Day Trip (12 hours)

After picking you up from your hotel in Guatemala City, we will set off for Lake Atitlán, where you will learn about the history of the 12 Indigenous villages surrounding the lake. We will then drive to Chichicastenango. You will have 1 hour of free time to get lunch at the Hotel Museo Mayan Inn. After lunch, we will visit the open-air market in Guatemala and Santo Tomás Church to learn about its significance.

From Chichicastenango, we will return to your hotel in Guatemala City.
