Guatemala City Private Tour

After picking you up at your hotel at the time of your choice, we'll set off for the Church of the Archdiocese of Santiago de Guatemala, the cathedral of the Guatemalan capital. This 18th-century neoclassical temple has undergone several restorations due to earthquakes in 1917, 1918, and 1976. Inside, we'll see the traces of these earthquakes and also admire a historic pipe organ.

Then we'll go to the National Palace, a building that mixes Neo-Plateresque, Spanish Baroque, and Renaissance styles. Afterward, we'll arrive at the Civic Centre to discuss the title awarded to Guatemala City in 2015 as 'Ibero-American Capital of Culture'.

The private walking tour will continue to the Plaza de la Constitución, where the kilometre zero is located and where the parades of the Independence of Guatemala are held.

Next, we'll take the minibus to reach the Ixchel Museum of Indigenous Costume, dedicated to the country's traditions, typical costumes, ceramics, jewellery, and books.

Finally, after 4 hours of sightseeing, the tour will end at your hotel.
