Ever dreamt of seeing an active volcano up close? Now's your chance! On this excursion from Guatemala City, we'll hike up the Pacaya Volcano and explore this natural jewel of Central America.

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Guatemala City and head towards Pacaya National Park, located about an hour and a half away.

Once we arrive at the trailhead in San Vicente de Pacaya, we'll set off on our hike up the Pacaya Volcano. During the hike, we'll traverse pine forests and see the volcano's smoking sulfuric cone, with a chance to witness small eruptions of lava.

From the mountainside, we'll enjoy views of the Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango volcanoes and panoramic sights of Guatemala City and Lake Amatitlan. We will pause for a lunch picnic. Afterward, we'll start our descent to the base of the volcano and return to the meeting points in Guatemala City, approximately 8 hours after pickup.
