3-Day Tour Details

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel in Guatemala City and travel to Cobán. On the way, we'll visit the Quetzal Refuge to spot Guatemala's national bird, discussing its plumage and lifestyle while enjoying the cloud forest.

You will spend the night in Cobán, with the afternoon free to explore sites such as the 19th-century El Calvario church, the Cathedral, and La Paz Park.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will take a 4x4 to Semuc Champey, arriving after a 2-hour drive. You'll hike through the Tropical Forest of Semuc Champey to a viewpoint overlooking the Cahabón River and the natural pools, where you can swim.

Following this, we will have a picnic and explore the Lanquín caves. We will return to your hotel in Cobán to rest.

Day 3

The final day involves a return trip to Guatemala City, with a visit to the Rey Marcos Caves for an adventure in nature. During the cave tour, observe various formations created by water in the limestone of Alta Verapaz.
