Tikal & Yaxha 2 Day Tour

Day 1

On the first day, pickup from your hotel in Guatemala City occurs at 4:30 am. Travel to La Aurora International Airport for a flight to Flores, lasting one hour. After landing at Mundo Maya Airport, head to Yaxha, known for its archaeological ruins and over 500 structures, including 9 temple pyramids and 2 Mesoamerican ballcourts. Following the visit, there will be a lunch stop (food not included) before checking in at a hotel in Flores for the night.

Day 2

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Tikal National Park with a travel time of one hour and 15 minutes. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tikal with an English-speaking guide, visiting the Temple of the Great Jaguar and the Temple of the Mask. The tour lasts three hours, focusing on Mayan civilization and the reasons behind the city’s abandonment in the 10th century. After the guided tour, break for lunch and return to Flores airport for the flight back to Guatemala City, concluding with a drop-off at your hotel.
