We will meet in Piazza Grande to start our tour of Modena and its historic downtown area.

The first stop is in front of the Modena Cathedral, a notable example of Roman architecture in Italy. We will focus on the Ghirlandina Tower, a symbol of Modena. Our guide will provide details about both monuments, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1997.

Next, we will stroll the historic downtown streets, learning about the city's history. Piazza Roma is a key area highlighting the city's heritage, particularly the Ducal Palace, which also houses the Military Academy.

This city contains many intriguing legends. During our tour, we will discuss the significance of vinegar in Modena's culture, its relation to Duke Francis V of Habsburg-East, and the community's connection to Luciano Pavarotti.

After 1.5 hours exploring the city's historic streets, we will return to the starting point to conclude the tour.
