Azulejos de Veneguera Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 10 am in the parking lot of the Azulejos de Veneguera, located 15 minutes from the center of Mogán. From here, we'll embark on an 8.5-kilometer hiking route through the mountains of western Gran Canaria.

As we trek through the semi-desert landscape, we'll admire the vivid greens and reds of the Azulejos de Veneguera. Our guide will explain the formation of this natural monument after the eruptions of the Tejeda volcano.

During the hike, we'll explore the various ravines and streams in this area of Gran Canaria. You'll have plenty of opportunities to photograph the scenic landscape and observe local flora and fauna. Look for native species such as Canary Island pines and the succulent plant known in Spanish as verodes.

At 3 pm, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the tour.
