Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner aboard a traditional boat along the coast of Mombasa.

Types of Boat Cruise

Choose between a daytime cruise with lunch or a nighttime cruise with dinner when booking.

Boat Cruise with Lunch

Pickup from your hotel is at 12 noon, heading to the port of Mombasa to board a jahazi, a traditional wooden boat. The cruise route runs parallel to the historic Tudor neighbourhood of Mombasa, where you will enjoy a delicious Kenyan lunch before returning to the port and your hotel.

Boat Cruise with Dinner

Pickup from your hotel begins around 5:00 pm for a romantic evening cruise. After a welcome cocktail, you’ll sail towards Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a traditional dinner halfway through, followed by music from an onboard DJ before returning to the port and your hotel.

Menu

Onboard meals include a selection of seafood, soup of the day, and a main course (choice of grilled lobster, grilled prawns, Swahili-style seafood, or grilled beef steak), concluding with a fruit salad. Drinks are not included.
