Types of Boat Cruise

You can choose to take the cruise during the day with lunch or at night with dinner included.

Boat Cruise with Lunch

Pickup from your hotel is at 12 noon. You will head to the port of Mombasa and board a jahazi, an Arabic wooden boat equipped with modern facilities. The cruise will take you along the Tudor neighbourhood, with views of the historic district. A delicious Kenyan lunch will be served on board. After the cruise, you will return to your hotel.

Boat Cruise with Dinner

Pickup will be around 5:00 pm for a romantic evening cruise. After enjoying a welcome cocktail, the boat will sail towards Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Midway through the journey, a traditional dinner will be served, followed by music from an onboard DJ. After the cruise, you will return to your hotel.

Menu

The onboard meal consists of a selection of seafood, soup of the day, a main course (options include grilled lobster, grilled prawns, Swahili-style seafood, or grilled beef steak), and a fruit salad. Drinks are not included.

Hotel Pick Up

This tour does not include pickups from hotels in the South Coast, Kilifi, Watamu, and Malindi. An additional supplement may apply for bookings from these areas.
