Mompox Boat Ride

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the specified time and head to the local dock. There, we will board a boat to begin a river trip around Mompox.

Once on board, we will sail along the Mompox Arm, one of the main tributaries of the Magdalena River. The trip lasts two and a half hours and offers views of Mompox’s landscapes rich in riverside vegetation, providing insights into this area.

Birdwatching will be a highlight, with opportunities to see herons, kingfishers, and cormorants, which are part of the migratory birds in the region. As we travel upriver, we will pass through the village of Troncosito, offering memorable views.

At the end of the trip, we will return to the dock and transport you back to your hotel, with an expected total duration of approximately 2.5 hours.
