After meeting at 4 pm at your hotel in Mompox, we'll walk to the river dock of this town in the Colombian department of Bolivar.

Once at the pier, we'll embark on a private boat ride on the Mompox arm of the Magdalena River, admiring the scenery as the sun begins to set, illuminating the riverside area with vibrant hues.

During the sunset, snacks will be available on board, along with opportunities to photograph the spectacular view. Sunset is a prime time to listen to the singing of the birds.

While crossing the river, we'll discuss the diversity of animals and native riparian plants along the Mompox branch.

We will conclude the boat trip by returning to the departure pier and walking with you back to your hotel in Mompox, arriving at 6:45 pm.
