On this gozzo tour of the Polignano a Mare caves, we'll explore the remarkable sea caves in the coastal city of Pulia.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Molo Regina Margherita in Monopoli, and once we're ready, we'll board a motorised gozzo to sail and explore Pulia's coastline.

As we travel, we'll leave Monopoli behind and sail towards Polignano a Mare, a town perched on a rocky cliff surrounded by clear waters that hide beautiful sea caves. This coastline is visually stunning.

Our first stops will be at Grotta Palazzese, known for its exclusive restaurant, and Lama Monachile, a cove with a pebbled beach where the Red Bull Cliff Diving world champions perform. Afterward, we'll visit Ermitaño Island or Isola dell'Ermita, a natural habitat for the Audouin's gull, and then continue to Grotta degli Innamorati (Lovers Cave), known for its romantic scenery.

We'll also pass by the Grotta Ardito, a hidden coastal treasure. During the tour, we'll stop for a refreshing swim in Polignano a Mare's turquoise waters.

Aboard, we'll enjoy a toast with a glass of prosecco along with typical Pulia culinary products such as taralli and focaccia barese.

This boat ride will conclude back at the initial port after a total of 2.5 hours of sailing.
