Monopoli Bike Tour

On this Monopoli bike tour, we will ride through the city's historic centre and into the Bari region's countryside. At the indicated time, we will meet at the Info Point Sala dei Pescatori, where bikes and helmets will be provided.

The bike tour will begin in the historic centre, exploring its main monuments, including the basilica of the Madonna della Madia. After touring the old town, we will transition to the rural countryside of Apulia. The ride will take us along roads bordered by dry stone walls and fields of olive and carob trees, providing an authentic atmosphere of southern Italy.

Participants will have the opportunity to see farms, oil mills, and cave churches, such as the church of the Holy Spirit, known for its Romanesque origins and medieval frescoes. The tour will conclude with a return to the starting point in Monopoli after 3 hours.
