We'll meet at 2 pm in Piazza Guglielmo II. Ready to discover the cultural diversity of this town thanks to its Arab and Norman influences?

We'll start by visiting the Norman Cathedral of Monreale, known as the Duomo di Monreale. This building exemplifies the fusion between Arab and Norman art and architecture.

We'll retrace the history of the Old and New Testament of the Bible through the Cathedral, stopping to admire the colourful mosaics that decorate its walls. Information on the technique used to create them will be provided.

We'll also enter the ancient Benedictine monastery and cloister near the Cathedral. After hearing stories of this medieval structure, we'll proceed to the nearby belvedere, which overlooks the valley and the golden basin of orange and citrus trees.

After two hours of discovering Monreale, our tour will conclude.
