We'll start by visiting the Norman Cathedral of Monreale, also known as the Duomo di Monreale. This building exemplifies the fusion between Arab and Norman art and architecture.

We'll retrace the history of the Old and New Testament of the Bible through the Cathedral, stopping to admire the mosaics that decorate its walls.

We'll also enter the ancient Benedictine monastery and cloister, located near the Cathedral. After hearing stories of this medieval structure, we'll head to the nearby belvedere that overlooks the valley and the basin of orange and citrus trees.
