Padule di Fucecchio Nature Reserve Horseback Riding

We'll meet at Agriturismo Il Bottaccino to kick off our ride through the Padule di Fucecchio Natural Reserve.

Prior to riding, there will be a 30-minute introduction to horseriding led by our guides, who will cover proper horseback riding manoeuvres to ensure safety. Riders will need to be in proper footwear before departing.

Once mounted, we will start at a slow trot into the scenic landscape of the Padule di Fucecchio Natural Reserve. This reserve houses Italy's largest freshwater marsh basin.

The route continues through the protected area, noted for its landscape heritage and home to over 200 bird species. Historical connections to the Medici and Lorena families will be discussed during our ride.

After 1.5 hours, we will return to the starting point, concluding our experience with our equine companions.
