Bus + Boat Transport to La Fortuna

After pickup at your hotel in Monteverde at the specified time, we will travel in a minibus toward La Fortuna, known as the gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park.

We will head to Lake Arenal, the largest lake in Costa Rica, approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles) long. Upon arrival at the shore, we will switch to a boat. While crossing the lake, we will enjoy views and learn about its history, including its expansion in the 1970s for hydroelectric power generation.

During the boat ride, we will have views of the volcanoes. Bring your camera!

After disembarking on the north shore of Lake Arenal, we will return to the minibus, which will take us to your hotel in La Fortuna after approximately three hours of driving, allowing you time to explore the town.
