Bus + Boat Transport to La Fortuna

We will pick you up at your hotel in Monteverde at the specified time and travel in a minibus to La Fortuna, known as the gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park.

Next, we will make our way to Lake Arenal, the largest lake in Costa Rica, spanning approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles). Upon arrival at the shore, we will transition to a boat. During the boat ride, you will experience the beauty of the lake and learn interesting facts, including that it was expanded in the 1970s for hydroelectric power generation.

While on the boat, you will enjoy striking views of surrounding volcanoes. Remember to keep your camera handy.

After the boat ride, we will disembark on the north shore of Lake Arenal and return to the minibus for the final leg of the journey. After approximately three hours of driving, we will arrive at your hotel in La Fortuna, where you will have the opportunity to explore the town.
