Here, you can see the details of each option:
Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve
Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is distinct among other rainforests in Costa Rica, due to its constant cloud cover. The high humidity at 1,600 metres (5,250 feet) above sea level contributes to this environment. During this walk, a guide will explain the fauna and flora in this ecosystem, known for its high biodiversity. You may see monkeys, coatis, hummingbirds, and possibly the famous quetzal. Binoculars and a telescope are available to observe these animals. The route includes around 9 hikes, with La Ventana viewpoint being a highlight, offering views of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve
This option explores Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve, located on the Tilarán mountain range bordering the Monteverde conservation site, which encompasses over 300 hectares (741 acres) of cloud forest.
