Pisa is one of the most famous cities in Italy, recognized for the leaning tower, a prominent photographic site. This excursion includes a visit to the historic centre and a climb of the tower.
Itinerary
We will depart from Montecatini heading to Pisa, a notable city in Tuscany and the birthplace of Galileo Galilei.
Upon arrival in Pisa, a guided tour of the historic centre will be conducted, where we will see the medieval wall and notable piazzas and monuments, culminating at the Piazza dei Miracoli.
Within the Piazza, we will view the Cathedral (ticket included), an exemplar of Romanesque art, the remarkable facade of St. John's Baptistry, and the cemetery, which serves as an open-air museum.
After the guided tour, skip the line tickets will be provided to climb the leaning tower, offering views of the city's most famous square.
Following this, we will return to Montecatini.
