Pecorino Cheese and Wine Tour

The tour meets at 1 pm in the Montepulciano piazza Grande, where we welcome you aboard the minibus and begin the tour.

Crossing the Orcia Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we'll arrive at our first stop, a cheesemaker in the Pienza region, known for its pecorino cheese production.

Here, we'll learn about the artisans involved in the production of this Tuscan delicacy, covering all the steps from sheep care to tasting. A delicious tasting will help us differentiate the various types of pecorino cheese.

Next, we visit a winery in Montepulciano, known for its nobile wine, a protected denomination exclusive to this region. We'll explore the winery where the wine is made and aged, followed by tastings of this wine and another variety for comparison.

The tour concludes back at the starting point at 4 pm.
