Explore the food culture of the Montepulciano region on a tour that includes a visit to a cheese maker and a traditional winery. Taste the renowned pecorino cheese and sample two different wines.

The tour begins at 1 pm in Montepulciano's Piazza Grande. A minibus will take you through the Orcia Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to a cheesemaker in the Pienza region known for producing exquisite pecorino cheese.

At the cheese maker, you'll learn about the artisanal process of creating this Tuscan delicacy, from sheep care to tasting. You'll also have the opportunity to sample different varieties of pecorino cheese.

Next, the tour heads to Montepulciano to visit a winery. Learn about the production and aging of the exclusive Nobile wine, a protected denomination unique to this region. Enjoy a tasting of Nobile wine and another variety at the winery.

The tour concludes back at the starting point at 4 pm.
