Excursion to Garcia Caves

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at the Monterrey Museum of Contemporary Art. Our adventure begins with a one-hour minibus trip to the town of Garcia, where we will unveil its magnificent caves. There will be a short break along the way, allowing you to grab a coffee or a light breakfast if you wish.

Upon reaching Sierra del Fraile, we will board a cable car that will take us right to the entrance of the Grutas de García. As we ascend, prepare to be captivated by the extraordinary rocky scenery—perfect for capturing memorable photographs!

Upon arrival at the top, we will enter the renowned Garcia Caves to navigate through an expansive 2 km (1.2 miles) labyrinth of caverns. A knowledgeable guide will accompany us, revealing the astonishing secrets these caves hold. Marvel at formations like the altar to the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Mirador de la Mano viewpoint, the Salón del Aire, and the impressive Christmas Tree, alongside many other hidden gems. Additionally, we will savor a cable car ride to appreciate the views from a distinct vantage point.

After our exploration of the caves, we will return to the starting location in Monterrey, completing our adventure in approximately 3 hours.
