Enjoy sampling the delicious taste of Uruguayan wine with this Bodega Bouza Tour. Discover how this drink is made, from the vineyard to the bottle, and taste several different varieties.

Bodega Bouza Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Montevideo at the scheduled time for a trip of approximately 1 hour to the winery.

Upon arrival, a 45-minute guided tour inside the winery will be conducted. The guide will explain the history of the winery and the winemaking process, including concepts such as pigeage and malolactic fermentation.

A visit to the underground caves where the ageing process takes place, lasting between 6 and 18 months, will also be included.

Following the tour, guests can choose between a full lunch with wine pairing or a wine tasting with appetizers.

After the visit, we will return to your hotel in Montevideo.

Tasting with Aperitif or Lunch

When booking, you can choose between a tour that includes a tasting of 4 wines (3 whites and 1 red) with cheeseboard and cold meats, or the lunch option, which includes a full meal with 2 courses, wine, dessert, water, coffee, or tea. A sample menu includes:

First course: Options include leek roti with mustard sauce or chef's salad. Served with Riesling 2020, Chardonnay 2021, or Merlot Tannat 2019.Main course: Choices like Bouza baby beef or grilled salmon. Accompanied by Monte Vide Eu 2019 or Tannat B26 2019.Dessert: Options such as homemade ice cream or caramelized apple tart. Accompanied by Orujo distillate.

The tasting lasts 30 minutes, while lunch with pairing will take about two hours. All options include a 45-minute guided tour of the winery.
