Enjoy sampling the delicious taste of Uruguayan wine with this Bodega Bouza Tour. Discover how this drink is made, from the vineyard to the bottle, and taste several different varieties.

Bodega Bouza Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Montevideo and head northwest to the winery, approximately a 1-hour journey.

Upon arrival, a 45-minute guided tour of the winery and grounds will commence. Learn about the family history and the winemaking process, including pigeage, de-stemming, and malolactic fermentation. Additionally, we'll visit the underground caves where wine ages for 6 to 18 months.

At the end of the tour, enjoy either a full lunch with wine pairing or a wine tasting with appetizers, based on your selection.

You'll be returned to your hotel in Montevideo afterward.

Tasting with Aperitif or Lunch

During booking, choose between a tour with a tasting of 4 wines (3 whites and 1 red) with a cheeseboard and appetizers or a full lunch including 2 courses and wine. The lunch option also includes dessert, water, coffee or tea, and a liqueur. Possible lunch menu options include:

First course: leek roti, chef's salad, crispy phyllo with cheese, or ginger prawns served with a selected wine.Main course: options such as Bouza baby beef or grilled salmon, accompanied by specific red wines.Dessert: choices include homemade ice cream or caramelised apple tart with a liqueur.
