Day Trip to Colonia del Sacramento

On this day trip to Colonia del Sacramento from Montevideo, you will travel by bus with Buquebus to a charming destination in Uruguay. You can select either a guided tour or a bike rental. There is also an option for an overnight stay at a hotel.

Tour Details

We will meet at the Buquebus ticket desk in the Tres Cruces Terminal. The bus departs from General Artigas Boulevard 1825 in Montevideo. After a road trip of approximately 2 hours, we will arrive at the Buquebus terminal at the Colonia del Sacramento Pier.

You can enjoy the activities included in your booking, depending on the selected option. At 7:15 pm, we need to return to the Buquebus terminal for our return trip to Montevideo's Tres Cruces Terminal, concluding the day after approximately 15 hours.

Tour Options

When booking, choose from the following options:

Transport, Tour, Sightseeing Bus & Bull Ring

This option includes a ride on the city's sightseeing bus with 10 stops over 50 minutes. Stop 1 is at Colonia del Sacramento's old town. You can hop on and off the bus at any stop. A guided tour of approximately 50 minutes is also included, starting from stop 1 with timings at 11 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm. It also includes a ticket to the Bull Ring, open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6:30 pm.

Transport, Tour, Sightseeing Bus, Bull Ring & Lunch

This option adds lunch at El Refugio, with a menu that includes a starter, main dish, and dessert, available from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Transport + Bike Rental

This option provides a bike to explore Colonia del Sacramento until the bus departure back to Montevideo.

Transport, Tour, Sightseeing Bus & One Night's Accommodation

This includes all features of the first option, plus a 4-star hotel stay. The next day, there will be a transfer back to the pier for your return trip. Note that accommodation only is included, excluding meals, and pricing is per person in a double room.
