Dinner Show at the El Milongon

The El Milongon restaurant is an exclusive space in Montevideo, located in the city centre, close to the Contemporary Art Space. The enclosure is famous for holding shows of traditional Uruguayan dance and for its unique ambience thanks to the subdued light, the candles, and the characteristic red carpet.

You will enjoy a show that brings together more than 30 performers on the stage. Ballet dancers, singers, and musicians will transport you to Argentina with tango and milonga performances. The show also allows you to get to know different folk dances from Uruguay such as the candombe: a dance that harks back to distant African roots, and with its powerful rhythms are popular in the streets of Montevideo during carnival.

And when you arrive we'll offer you a welcome drink so you can begin your evening of dance on the right foot!
