Montevideo Sightseeing Tour

Your journey begins with a hotel pickup at your designated time, allowing you to explore the iconic monuments and landmarks of Uruguay's capital. An English-speaking guide, well-versed in Montevideo's rich history, will provide live commentary as you visit the city's renowned spots.

The tour kicks off at the historic Ciudad Vieja (Old City), the core area where Montevideo was established. To explore its past, we’ll visit the Plaza de la Independencia, where major highlights include the Puerta de la Ciudadela (Gateway of the Citadel), Solís Theatre, Executive Tower, Estévez Palace, Salvo Palace, and the monument dedicated to José Gervasio Artigas.

Next, we’ll continue through the city center along part of the Avenida 18 de Julio, making our way to the Legislative Palace, which houses the Parliament. We will also pass by the Agricultural Market of Montevideo, showcasing a variety of local products!

The panoramic tour continues at José Batlle y Ordoñez Park, where you’ll get views of the Centenario Stadium and the Monumento la Carreta sculpture. Before concluding the tour, we’ll head to the Rambla de Pocitos, stopping by the Montevideo sign for some fantastic photo opportunities.

In total, the tour lasts approximately three hours, after which we will return you to your hotel.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup and drop-off are included from hotels located in downtown Montevideo, Pocitos, Punta Carretas, and Carrasco at the start times of 8:30 am and 1:30 pm.

Note that pickup in Carrasco is unavailable for the 1:30 pm slot.

If your accommodation is outside these areas or located in a hostel or Airbnb, we will confirm the exact pickup time and meeting point the day prior to the activity.
