Punta del Este Day Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Montevideo at the indicated time to start the excursion to Punta del Este via the scenic Costa de Oro. Our first stop will be Punta Ballena to visit the Casapueblo citadel, built by Uruguayan sculptor Carlos Páez Vilaró since 1958. Initially a wooden shack, it has transformed into a 13-floor mansion featuring a museum, art gallery, and hotel.
Next, we will arrive at Punta del Este, known as the "Monaco of the South," where you will see the impressive mansions in the neighborhoods of Beverly Hills, El Golf, Cantegril, and San Rafael. We will continue to the Undulating Bridge towards Playa Brava and Playa Mansa, featuring the notable sculpture "The Hand" of Punta del Este emerging from the sand for a photo opportunity.
In the city center, enjoy 2.5 hours of free time for lunch and shopping at the handicrafts market. After 10-11 hours of touring, we will return to Montevideo.
