Our journey begins at 9 am at the Mosson tram station, where we will board a minibus heading to the breathtaking Hérault region, particularly the scenic Larza plateau.

Our initial stop will take us to the base of Mont Saint-Baudille, where we can start to soak in the natural splendor of southern France. After taking in these stunning views, we will proceed towards the Cirque de Navacelles gorge, a true gem of the area. This crater-like formation boasts cliffs that soar to an impressive height of 984 ft (300 m)! Depending on the size of our group, we will visit either the Baume d'Auriol or the Blandas viewpoint for a closer look at the striking gorge.

As we near the cirque, we will encounter the charming village of Navacelles, where the homes appear to be straight out of a fairy tale. Many of these structures are built directly into the rock, perched alongside the cascading waters of the river Vis. The scene is undeniably picturesque and will linger in your memory for years to come!

You will have some time to unwind and enjoy lunch on your own in this picturesque environment, enhanced by the gentle sounds of the river's waterfalls. We suggest packing a picnic-style meal to savor during your break.

Later in the afternoon, we will embark on a brief stroll along the banks of the Vis to visit the famed mills of La Foux, conveniently located near the village of Vissec.

In conclusion, after a quick stop to admire the beautiful vistas of the Gardois, we will head back to Montpellier, returning to our starting point by 4 pm.
