Pic Saint-Loup Excursion + Wine Tasting

At 9:30 am, we'll leave from the Esplanade de l'Europe square in Montpellier and head towards Pic Saint-Loup, a notable mountain in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France.

We'll walk through the surroundings of this peak, taking in natural landscapes with great botanical and geological diversity. You'll learn about the area's main plants, trees, rocks, and minerals, and be able to see the neighboring Hortus Causse mountains in the distance.

The tour will also take us through the area's vineyards, where we'll learn about the types of grapes grown in this Occitan region. This region is recognized as one of the main wine-growing areas of Languedoc.

Our last stop will be at a local winery for a tasting of Languedoc wines, including different varieties of Grand Crus. You'll gain knowledge on wine tasting.

After enjoying the wine, we'll return to Montpellier, arriving back at approximately 5:30 pm.
