Sète Trip & Oyster Tasting

Culture and food come together perfectly on this trip to Sète, a beautiful town in Occitania where we'll taste the best oysters in the south of France.

Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Place de l'Europe in Montpellier and travel to Sète. Upon arrival, we will enjoy views of Bassin de Thau, the largest lake in Occitania, before walking for an hour through the seaside district of La Pointe Courte, known for its traditional fishermen's houses.

Next, we will visit an oyster farm, where a generational oyster farmer will explain how oysters and other shellfish are cultivated in the area's optimal conditions. The visit will conclude with a tasting of oysters, including the renowned Bouzigue oysters and Brasucade with grilled mussels, enjoyed with lemon or vinegar with tarragon.

After this gastronomic experience, we will return to the meeting point in Montpellier, concluding this 4-hour excursion.
