Sète Trip & Oyster Tasting

Culture and food come together perfectly on this trip to Sète, a beautiful town in Occitania where we'll taste the best oysters in the south of France.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Place de l'Europe and travel to Sète, located between the Étang de Thau and the Mediterranean coast. Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of Sète, walking through the seaside district of La Pointe Courte and visiting emblematic points such as the Canal Royal and Parc Simone Veil.

Next, we'll proceed to Étang de Thau, where we'll visit an oyster farm. An oyster farmer will explain how oysters and other shellfish are cultivated in this region, known for optimal conditions for their development.

The visit will conclude with a tasting of oysters, which can be enhanced with lemon or vinegar with tarragon. After this gastronomic experience, we will return to the meeting point in Montpellier, concluding this 4-hour excursion.
