Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the Place de l'Europe at the designated time and set off north toward the Terrasses du Larzac region. Here, we will explore the wine growers of the AOC Terrasses du Larzac and visit a mystical cave that has seen centuries of history.
The tour will begin in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Fos, where we will visit the Grotte de Clamouse, a renowned cave with numerous stalactites and stalagmites. During the exploration of this underground gallery, we will observe various geological formations, including distinctive aragonite crystals.
Our journey will continue at a traditional winery, where a winegrower will explain the crafting of local wines. We will conclude the tour with a tasting of Apellation d'Origine Terrasses du Larzac wines.
After the tasting, we will return to the meeting point in Montpellier, completing this day trip in a total of 5 hours.
