Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Place de l'Europe. From Montpellier, we'll head north to the Terrasses du Larzac region to learn about the wine growers of the AOC Terrasses du Larzac and visit a mystical cave with a long history.
The tour begins in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Fos, where we will visit the Grotte de Clamouse, known for its stalactites and stalagmites. The cave tour will highlight various geological formations, including unique aragonite crystals.
Next, we will visit a traditional winery, where a winegrower will explain the process of crafting local wines. The tour will conclude with a tasting of Appellation d'Origine Terrasses du Larzac wines.
After the tasting, we will return to the meeting point in Montpellier, concluding this day trip with a total duration of 5 hours.
