Glacier 3000 & Les Diablerets from Montreux

Our journey begins at 9:45 am from the Place de l'Eurovision, positioned outside the Montreux Tourist Office, as we head east.

After a scenic 45-minute ride, we will reach Les Diablerets, a charming alpine village nestled in the Swiss canton of Vaud. This quaint village, whose name translates to "little devils," has an intriguing story behind its title that we will explore during our outing!

Once in Les Diablerets, you’ll have ample time to wander and discover at your leisure. From here, you will be treated to extraordinary views of Glacier 3000: a renowned ski resort located on an alpine glacier and known for its vast array of slopes and lifts.

For those who wish to take in the breathtaking vistas from the peak of Glacier 3000, there is an option to include a cable car ticket. Alternatively, if you prefer to enjoy the scenery of the glacier from afar, you can remain in Les Diablerets, meandering through its streets and sampling local delicacies.

In the afternoon, we’ll gather back at the village center for our return journey to Montreux, aiming to arrive at our starting point by 5 pm.

Glacier 3000 Cable Car

If you choose, you can purchase a cable car ticket for Glacier 3000. This ticket includes a round trip on the cable car that links the Col du Pillon station in Les Diablerets to the summit of Glacier 3000. During this 15-minute ascent, you will witness stunning panoramic vistas of the Vaudoise Alps.

The ride concludes at the Scex Rouge station, which stands at an altitude of 2,971 meters. Your ticket also grants access to two of the ski resort’s key attractions: the Peak Walk and the Fun Park.

The Peak Walk By Tissot is a 107-meter suspension bridge leading to an amazing viewpoint at 3,000 meters above sea level, while the Fun Park offers an engaging snow park where you can enjoy tobogganing. Access to this recreational area is available via the Ice Express chairlift.
