Glacier 3000 & Les Diablerets starting from Montreux

Our adventure kicks off at 9:45 am from the Place de l'Eurovision, located adjacent to the Montreux Tourist Office, as we head eastward.

After a scenic 45-minute journey, we will arrive at Les Diablerets, a charming alpine village nestled in the Swiss canton of Vaud. The village's name, translating to "little devils," has intriguing origins that we will uncover during our visit!

You'll have the opportunity to wander around Les Diablerets at your own leisure, where you can savor stunning views of Glacier 3000, a renowned ski resort perched on an alpine glacier. This location features a variety of slopes and lifts, marking it as a significant winter hotspot in Switzerland.

For those eager to witness the breathtaking vistas from the summit of Glacier 3000, optional cable car tickets are available. Alternatively, if you prefer to admire the glacier from afar, you can relax in Les Diablerets, explore its charming streets, and sample local delicacies.

In the afternoon, we will gather in the village center for our return trip to Montreux, with an anticipated arrival back at our starting point by 5 pm.

Glacier 3000 Cable Car

Should you wish, you can also purchase a cable car ticket for Glacier 3000. This option includes a return journey on the cable car linking the Col du Pillon station in Les Diablerets with the summit of Glacier 3000. The cable car ride lasts approximately 15 minutes, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Vaudoise Alps.

The Glacier 3000 cable car will transport you to the Scex Rouge station at an elevation of 2,971 meters. Your ticket also grants access to two of the main attractions at the ski resort: the Peak Walk and the Fun Park.

The Peak Walk By Tissot is a 107-meter suspension bridge leading to a spectacular observation point at 3,000 meters elevation. Meanwhile, the Fun Park is a delightful snow park perfect for tobogganing adventures, accessible via the Ice Express chairlift.
