Pagos Rey Wine Museum

We'll meet at the entrance to the Pagos del Rey Wine Museum to begin our guided tour of this old winery that has been converted for educational purposes. We'll spend around 3 hours finding out about wine production: cultivation, fermentation, ageing. We will explore these terms during our tour.

On our guided tour of this 1964 building, we will notice that it still preserves its original characteristics: the traditional roofing system and the original wine barrels. We will admire different pieces, audiovisual footage and digital screens that enhance the traditional space. One of the notable exhibitions is the ageing room, which holds over two thousand French and American oak barrels.

We will also visit the 2,000 square metre garden that grows some of the plants needed for wine production. We will stop during our guided tour to taste a glass of wine accompanied by a tapa.
