Tour of Morelia
We'll meet at the designated time on Avenida Francisco I Madero to start our guided tour of Morelia.
First, we'll walk through the historic center of the city to see Baroque-style buildings, including the Metropolitan Cathedral of Morelia, the symbol of the town.
We'll continue our exploration of Morelia's history and culture, admiring examples of colonial architecture, such as the Cathedral, University of Morelia, Jesuit School, Plaza de Armas, and Palacio de Justicia.
Next, we'll visit the Conservatory of Las Rosas, built in 1743, which features pink stone arches and is the first conservatory in America. We will also stop at the Morelos Birthplace Museum to learn about one of the heroes of the Mexican Independence.
The tour will conclude at this last point after 2 hours.
