Your journey begins with a pickup at 10 am from your accommodation in Morelia, followed by a trip to the Los Filtros Viejos nature reserve, located just outside the city, where our adventure tour awaits.

Once we arrive, you'll embark on a two to three hour hike. As we traverse the trails, keep an eye out for the 102 bird species that call this reserve home, including the striking harlequin quail, the elegant fruiteater, and the acorn woodpecker.

In addition to avian wonders, you'll have the chance to learn about the local plant life, such as the majestic American cedar and the vibrant flame coral tree, which is a member of the legume family. As we share intriguing information about the native flora, you’ll also encounter a stunning waterfall nestled amidst lush greenery and view the remnants of the old aqueduct of Morelia.

Following the hike, we will pause at a rugged site to engage in abseiling. Here, you will descend an 8-meter cliff, challenging your climbing abilities and strength—a truly memorable experience!

After this exhilarating activity, take some time to recharge with a meal. At the conclusion of our adventure, we will board the minibus and return to your hotel in Morelia around 6 pm.
