Santa Clara del Cobre Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Morelia at 8 am, we'll head to Santa Clara del Cobre, one of Michoacán's Magical Towns.
We'll take a guided tour of the historic centre to admire some of its important monuments, including the baroque façade of the Church of Nuestra Señora del Sagrario and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
Passing through the main square, we'll admire picturesque houses with arcades and observe locals by the pavilion. After our tour of Santa Clara, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch or exploration.
We'll visit a handicraft workshop to witness the local technique of copper hammering, historically practiced by the Purépechas. Here, we will see finished works and learn about the craft's generational legacy.
We'll finish the tour by returning to your hotel in Morelia for 7 pm.
