At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Morelia and set off for the Magical Town of Tacámbaro.

First, we'll stop on the outskirts of the town to discover the Magdalena Lagoon, a lake surrounded by a coniferous forest. You can swim if you wish.

Next, we'll visit the Chapel of María Magdalena, a 16th century church that belonged to Governor Cristóbal de Oñate, where Augustinian monks worked to convert local indigenous people.

We'll then visit the centre of Tacámbaro, passing through the Plaza del Santo Niño and admiring religious buildings such as the Cathedral, the Church of Fátima, and the Church of Guadalupe. You will have an hour of free time to get lunch and try local delicacies.

Afterwards, we'll make our way to Alberca de Chupio, a volcanic crater located just 3 kilometres from the town. While exploring the lake, we'll share a legend regarding King Tacamba and ancient Purepecha customs.

After enjoying this tranquil oasis, we'll return to Morelia, arriving at your hotel by 7 pm.
