At 10 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Morelia to head to Teremendo de los Reyes.

During the exploration, learn about the town's Purepecha roots and its founding by Bishop Vasco de Quiroga. Visit the Church of the Holy Kings and observe its bell tower while discovering the festivities on January 6th in honor of the Three Wise Men.

Stroll through the narrow streets lined with adobe and tile houses, then visit an artisan bakery to see traditional bread-making techniques.

Afterwards, enjoy an hour of free time for lunch. A 20-minute walk to the Alberca de Morelia, one of Michoacán's three volcanic lakes, follows.

Learn about this volcanic crater lake's origins as you observe the surrounding white sapote trees, ash trees, cacti, and oaks. Note that the water color changes from dark brown to emerald green depending on the season.

Return to Morelia, with arrival at your hotel expected by 6 pm.
