On the Tiristarán Caves & Chiquimitio Waterfall Day Trip, you will experience the natural scenery around Morelia while learning about the history of Michoacán.

At 8 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Morelia to travel to Tiristarán, a small town in Michoacán de Ocampo.

Upon arrival, a 1.2-mile (2-kilometre) hike will take you to the Tiristarán Caves. Prior to entering, all protective gear will be provided as you explore three caves known as The Patio, the Stair, and the Cave of the Bats. Inside, you will observe unique rock formations shaped by water and wind seepage.

After the cave exploration, a traditional lunch will be served. Following lunch, you will visit the Chiquimitio Waterfall, where you can swim in the turquoise blue pool or opt for abseiling next to the waterfall for an adrenaline rush.

The trip concludes with a return to Morelia, arriving at your hotel by 6 pm.
