Tzintzuntzan, Santa Fe de la Laguna, & Pátzcuaro
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Morelia and set off to visit some of the most interesting places in Michoacán.
First, we'll stop in Santa Fe de la Laguna. You will walk the streets of this historic town, see the pottery workshops, and the women's traditional clothing, experiencing the indigenous Purhepecha customs.
You'll have 30 minutes of free time for food in Santa Fe de la Laguna. Afterwards, we will head towards the Magical Village of Tzintzuntzan, where we will visit the archaeological site of the most important city in the Purhepecha Empire, learning about its history and discovering the yácatas, the ceremonial center, and the ruins of temples such as Curicaueri.
In Tzintzuntzan, we will admire the former Franciscan Convent of Santa Ana, the plateresque Church of San Francisco de Asis, and the baroque-style Church of La Soledad.
Next, we will proceed to Pátzcuaro, a Magical Village with over 500 years of history. You will stroll through its cobblestone roads, admiring different Baroque and Neo-Classical churches, squares, and adobe and tile houses.
