Umécuaro Dam Ziplining + Firefly Tour

At 4:30 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Morelia and set off for our first stop: the Umécuaro Dam.

At the reservoir, you'll enjoy peaceful waters surrounded by forests. After gearing up with safety equipment, you'll experience a 600-metre zip-line ride across the dam - a thrilling experience.

Next, we will proceed to the Tres Cascadas Ecotourism Centre to explore a trail of pine and oak trees and observe fireflies.

We will make stops along the trail to witness the fireflies’ light displays and learn about their behaviors, such as using their glow to attract mates and warn of danger.

After the firefly exhibition, we will enjoy a delicious dinner.

Finally, we will return to Morelia, arriving back at your hotel by 11 pm.
