We will gather at the designated meeting point at the Alqueva reservoir before embarking on a boat to explore the expansive artificial lake as the sun sets.

Once we set off, an engaging guide will share fascinating insights about this dam, which was constructed in 2002. Did you know that it is the largest dam in Western Europe?

Throughout the journey, keep an eye out for great bustards, cranes, and black storks, which are often spotted gliding above. As we sail, our guide will narrate stories about the local village and its customs. In addition, we can enjoy a beautiful Alentejo song during the excursion.

Feeling a bit peckish? You’re in for a treat as we serve a delightful snack of olives, bread, and white wine. Should the weather permit, a refreshing dip in the waters of the Guadiana River will also be an option before the sun sets.

After an hour and a half on the water, we will cruise back to our original location, concluding this memorable adventure.
