At 10 am, the tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Moyobamba, followed by a trip to Morro de Calzada to commence the hiking experience. The route includes an ascent of over 500 meters while discussing the cloud forest ecosystems.
A stop at the Interpretation Center will provide insights into the local wildlife, including endemic species like the pichico monkey, the titi monkey, and the barn owl, through photos and infographics.
Continuing the hike, participants will learn about local legends such as the story of the stone man. The tour also includes a visit to the Silla del Curaca viewpoint and the Allcamayo waterfall, offering an opportunity for a refreshing swim.
