Tingana Nature Reserve Private Day Trip

Immerse yourself in the Peruvian jungle on this private day trip to the Tingana Nature Reserve. Lush vegetation, numerous bird species, colorful plants, monkeys, and many other surprises await!

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Moyobamba and drive by minibus to the Tingana Ecological Reserve, a flooded forest.

After a 2-hour drive, we'll arrive, where we'll enjoy a local breakfast. Then, we'll take a boat across the Mayo and Avisado rivers, exploring the flora and fauna of the reserve.

During the boat ride, we may see animals such as woodpeckers, monkeys, sloths, afaninga snakes, among others, while learning about them and the trees.

We'll return to land for a delicious lunch cooked over a wood fire, including a typical dish and a drink. Afterwards, we'll visit Finca Don Pepito, a farm in the Tingana reserve, to learn about coffee, cacao, and vanilla plantations, as well as a small orchid farm.

After approximately 9.5 hours, we'll conclude the day trip and return to your hotel.
