Tingana Nature Reserve Private Excursion

At 6 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Moyobamba and drive by minibus to the Tingana Ecological Reserve. After a 2-hour drive, we will arrive and enjoy a local breakfast. Then, we'll take a boat across the Mayo and Avisado rivers.

During the boat ride, we'll observe the flora and fauna, including woodpeckers, monkeys, sloths, and afaninga snakes. We will also share interesting facts about these animals.

Next, we will return to land for a lunch prepared over a wood fire with a typical dish and a drink. We'll then visit Finca Don Pepito, where we’ll learn about coffee, cacao, and vanilla plantations, alongside a visit to a small orchid farm.

We will finish the excursion at 3:30 pm, returning to your hotel.

2-day excursion

For those interested in spending a night at the Tingana Ecological Reserve, we will engage in the same activities as the previous excursion, plus a night walk through the jungle.

On the following day, we will enjoy breakfast in the reserve and conclude the excursion at 10 am, returning you to your hotel in Moyobamba.

The 2-day excursion includes one night of accommodation in double rooms at the Tingana Natural Refuge.
