At your chosen time, we'll start the tour either at your hotel or from a central location in Bern. During this private walking tour, we'll discover the fascinating history of the Swiss capital and see some of its iconic monuments. Off we go!

As this is a private tour, you'll get to decide the route you'd like to follow. We'll stroll around the historic centre of the city and stop at places that draw your attention to talk about them in more detail.

We'll visit the Old City, a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site, known for its remarkably preserved medieval streets and layout. In the Old City, we'll see Bern Minster, which took over 400 years to build, the medieval Zytglogge astronomical clock tower, and numerous fountains on Spitalgasse and Kramgasse streets. You could also stroll by the Federal Palace of Switzerland and the house where Albert Einstein lived in the early 20th century.

Another must-see is the Bärenpark. If you cross the River Aare, you'll find a green space that several brown bears call home. We'll discuss how these animals have become a symbol of Bern and their connection to the city's name.
