Salzburg is a notable destination in Austria. This excursion by train from Munich allows you to explore the birth city of Mozart comfortably.

Salzburg Day Trip

At the specified time, we will meet at Dachauer Str. 4 in Munich to board the train to Salzburg, while enjoying views of the Bavarian Alps along the way.

After a scenic 2-hour train journey, we will arrive in Salzburg and participate in a guided walking tour of the city. Equipped with a city map, we will explore the streets of this UNESCO-listed city, noting its Baroque architecture, castles, churches, monasteries, and squares. Highlights of the tour include Domkirche Cathedral and the Festung Hohensalzburg fortress.

Following the walking tour, you will have 3 hours of free time to explore the city independently. Recommended sites include Mirabell Palace and its gardens, as well as the medieval old town with attractions such as Mozart's birthplace, the city market, and Salzburg Cathedral. There will be opportunities to purchase souvenirs and enjoy local cuisine.

After your visit, we will reconvene at the train station for the return journey to Munich, concluding the tour after 10 hours upon arrival back at the starting point.
