Day Trip to Salzburg by Train

Salzburg is a notable city in Austria. This excursion by train from Munich allows you to explore the birthplace of Mozart comfortably.

Salzburg Day Trip

We will meet at Dachauer Str. 4 in Munich at the specified time to board the train to Salzburg. The journey includes views of the Bavarian Alps separating Germany and Austria.

After a 2-hour train journey, we arrive in Salzburg and start a guided walking tour of the city. Equipped with a map, we will follow our guide through the UNESCO-listed streets, viewing sites such as Domkirche Cathedral and Festung Hohensalzburg fortress.

Upon the tour's conclusion, you will have 3 hours of free time to explore the city independently. Recommended visits include Mirabell Palace and its gardens. Also, consider the medieval old town, where you can see Mozart's birthplace and the Salzburg Cathedral. There will be time for souvenirs and local dining.

After exploring, we will reconvene at the train station for the return journey to Munich, concluding a total of 10 hours by the time we arrive back at the starting point.
